Is there anyone here that has seen enough defocagraphy results other than their own to give me some feedback on my own? I have seen plenty of "regular" results, enough to know mine are sooooo not. I was scheduled for a badly needed pelvic prolapse repair this next week. This will be my third surgery this year, we are maxed on insurance and wont have to pay anything but as of january would start over and we just cant afford it. We are out a good 6-7 thousand already this year.

The radiologist that is supposed to interpret it was not in yesterday, and if she is not in today (they said very possible) I wont get results til next week. I have an appt today to finalize surgery on the other for next thursday.

Based on what I have seen of "regular" test results, my system right above my rectum area right as it should go into the lower intestines has some serious problems. Strange that the colonoscopy didnt find a thing last week? Anyway I have photos they gave me, if anyone had some knowledge to share I could forward them. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

I have posted a link to my defogram pictures. I had intussusecption and anismus which prevented me from having a normal bowel movement. Please feel free to email me. Click on the link to the right for my email address. I now have an ileostomy and life is good. Tracy
Diagnosed w/colonic inertia, obstructive defecation syndrome, anismus, rectocele, and intussusecption
2005-hysterectomy w/pelvic prolapse repairs
2010-subtotal colectomy, rectopexy, and temporary diverting loop ileostomy. Parastomal hernia discovered in November, so more surgery, probably end ileostomy with relocation of stoma.
