Hello again,
I'm kind of lost here cause I can't find my earlier posts but I have a new question.  I had my ileostomy reversal done about a month ago.  After some problems (which I'll explain in a later post), my diarrhea is here in full force!!  A nurse suggested that I use liquid Immodium because I was going so often the pills may not have enough time to completely dissolve and get into my system.  The liquid seems to do a little better job.  My question is, does anyone know where I can find a generic version to save a few bucks.  I ive in a fairly small town so my choices are limited.  Target makes a generic, but I can only find small (4 oz) bottles and they usually only have 1 or 2 in stock.  The way I'm going I could use the gallon size (lol).  Any ideas.  Thanks.

Sorry I don't know anything about liquid imodium. Have you tried metamucil bars as well....they work really well for my son. Also, be really careful with the amount of sugar in your liquids. These just make more output....sports drinks are usually loaded with sugar. Tomato based drinks like V8 are really good for you.
Mom to Dillon (age 19) who had three major UC flares over two years....Very sick. Colectomy Sept/09, J pouch built Jan/10 and take down Feb/10. Now out living life at University and doing great. NO MEDS
