I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for trying to help our dear late Bob.  He passed on from a multiple prescription drug overdose.  I know how much he admired some of the friends here, and you gave him the strength that I or someone not in his position could provide...and for that I am grateful.  We had a long happy marriage, and we loved each other very much.  And I am sorry if this is not a forum to place this type of chat.  If you would also let the mods and people know in Ulcerative Colitis and Diabetes know, as well, I would appreciate it.
Many thanks to his friends here, he spoke of you as if you were next door.  I am sorry I could not do this earlier, but we have been in shock and grief since his passing.  He is no longer in any pain and in a better place.

Oh dear! Bob was a great friend and supporter of many on the UC and Ostomy site. He had many health challenges yet he always was so positive. Thank you so much for coming to the site and sharing his untimely death with those of us who knew and cared for him. I'm sure he's in a better place although I will miss him.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. Bob was so sweet and caring. He always was more concerned about everyone regardless of what he had going on with him. It is good to know he is at peace now and no longer suffering, my thoughts are with you.

Phyllis, I'm also very sorry for your loss.  Bob sometimes came over to the Diabetes Forum.  He was a nice and helpful person.  I hope you can find the peace you are searching for.

Phyllis...Thank you so much for thinking of us and letting us know. Many of us have been so worried. I cannot imagine how difficult this must be for you and your family. Bob always seemed like such a lovely man. I am terribly sorry for your loss and we will miss him greatly.
