I didn't eat anything unusual, so have no idea why I had this weird dream.
I dreamt we were out to dinner with friends and I had a strong urge to evacuate but knew I had a "bag" and felt very frightened.  I went into the stall, forced a bit and guess what came out....a live chicken!!!!  It was huge and clucking all over the place.  I tried to catch it because the surgeon had to put it back in.  The chicken ran down the street and I was screaming at my husband to catch it.  Then I sat down on the curb and was thinking..."now what am I going to do?  The surgeon is going to have to put another chicken back in there and my stitches will all pop".
When I woke, it seemed so real that I had to check and see if I had the bag in place...wow.
Any dream interpreters out there?  LOL!

That is so funny Christine. I can't quit laughing. Hmmm, I wonder what that dream means too?
Diagnosed w/colonic inertia, obstructive defecation syndrome, anismus, rectocele, and intussusecption
2005-hysterectomy w/pelvic prolapse repairs
2006-sacralcolopopexy
2010-subtotal colectomy, rectopexy, and temporary diverting loop ileostomy. Parastomal hernia discovered in November, so more surgery, probably end ileostomy with relocation of stoma.

Ooh, don't think I want my dreams read if I remembered ones as good as that. Haven't stopped laughing yet but I'm sure that trying to stuff the chicken back in is illegal in some states! lol :)

Too funny
64 yr old male suffered with UC & in May 06 had a severe flare & hospitalized 6 days...various prednisone treatments leading to steroid dependence and osteopenia, 12 asacol, 200 mg Imuran, failed remicade infusions Jan-May 2010 Dependence on pain meds. Made decision 6/10 to have surgery which was on 12/17/10 (total proctocolectomy & ileostomy - unable to have the j-pouch) and no longer in pain.
