I had never had gas pains pre-surgery (except for the bloating after a colonoscopy).

I had one incident a month ago and couldn't work out what I had eaten - lasted all day and was mainly towards the left side of my abdomen - from just below my ribs to my belly button. Couldn't work out what the pain was, then realized it was probably gas and spent 20 minutes being a snake on the ground / knees to ribs / rolling from side to side. Pain went and my bag filled up with A LOT of air that night.
