It has been a few days since you have been home from the hospital, I have been thinking of you.  I hope you are doing okay.  Other then with her having blood in her stool,  my daughter is going great.  I can't wait till you have your takedown surgery and start to enjoy your life back as my daughter has.  She has lost 3lbs since her last check up.  Her doctor isn't to worried he told her that is the best he has seen her look.  Hang in their it does get better.

Aw, thanks for your concern! I'm doing a lot better since I've been home from the hospital, although things are still slow going and that is frustrating. I'm so ready to be done with this. It's great to hear that your daughter is doing well! Tell her I'm happy for her. :)
Diagnosed with UC in 2007
Flare in 2007 causing anemia requiring blood transfusions, eventually controlled by asacol and 6-MP.
Flared again in 2009 as 6-MP lost effectiveness, went on TPN and received more blood. Started Remicade, which induced remission.
Flared 2010; Remicade no longer effective.
Had 1st surgery of 3 step j-pouch at CC on 1/19/11. 2nd slated for April, and j-pouch in July!
