I just wanted to share that my daughter is loving her stealth belt!  She was a bit disappointed at first because "you could still see it".  Her stoma sticks out a LOT and that is her biggest issue, and I think she thought the belt was going to make it disappear.  However, today she came to me with yoga pants and a tight tank top on and turned to the side and said, "you can hardly see it!"  Boy, did that make me feel good.  She has had some frustrations with her bag and the stoma showing, and I was at a loss of what else I could say or do.  She is 18, fit and thin and likes to wear things tight to her body.  She also said she likes it much better wearing the bag to the side.  She didn't like how it "hung down her leg".  She said it is a bit more challenging emptying it especially if her stool is more liquid, but isn't that big of a deal.

If any of you are thinking about getting the stealth belt, I would strongly recommend it.  It came REALLY fast, and is good quality.  It is a bit pricey, but at least we are very happy with it rather than other belts we have tried that have been less money but disappointing.

I ordered one about a week ago and im excited about getting it. Does she wear it all the time? The concern that i had about getting one was what if i want to lay on my right side to sleep? will that be a problem since the bag will go around my right side?

I have to check to see if it has a tag to know what kind of material it is for sure, but it is a stretchy soft fabric.  Maybe cotton/lycra?

She wears a different one to bed--one from ostomysecrets.  I don't think sleeping on your side would be a problem, depends on preference probably.  She asked the ostomy nurse about sleeping on her stomach and she said that was perfectly fine, so I'd think your side would be okay.  I just wonder about the bag filling with gas and getting a leak....but I would think your side wouldn't be as much complete pressure on the bag.

She loves that it doesn't hang down by her leg anymore or flop around.  The belt and the fact that her stoma seems to be shrinking has her feeling a LOT better about everything.
