Ive read mostly about women on here...and hiding ostomy with tankini's, and one piece bathing suits... But i am a guy and i dont have that option... Im looking for something that i can hide a small pouch...

The only idea ive really thought about is buying a wet suit tank top... Seems to be the only logical idea...

Im always declining the offer from my friends to goto the lake and beaches swimming and hanging out... Is there anything you know about...that could hide the stoma better for a few hours...

Any secrets and tricks would be much appreciated.... Thanks for the help...have a great summer my ostomy friends

Have you looked at the stealth belt? You can wear it under your swim suit and buy it in colors that are close to your suit. Is your stoma at waist level or lower?
My son just wears a t-shirt over his swim suit because of a rib cage deformity.

I second the stealth belt.

Also, those swim t-shirts are really common nowadays. Most people wear them to protect against the sun, I think, but you could get one to cover your pouch.

Don't let your ostomy keep you from living!! You got it so you COULD live!

We had a poster from Austrailia, not too long ago, who wore a 'rash' shirt when he went body boarding...Like 80's mentioned most people wear them for sun protection and wouldn't think you were out of place. That style would probably be more comfortable than wearing something made of wetsuit material, too.

You can find a lot of options at a surf/board shop or online...let us know what you decide on.

Don't decline any more offers...just keep your regular t-shirt on until you find something else!
