Anyone know any good Iron/Calcium supplements for use illeostomy types?

I found the one a day gummies (don't like the taste that much).

When I had my ileostomy, I had the same question. I started out with a product called Cerovite Liquid. It doesn't show any calcium in it, but it does provide 50% of the RDA for iron, and that's what I needed. I was severely anemic after my emergency surgery and had to bump up my iron, but my calcium levels were ok, so that worked all right. I changed after a while and started to use the vitamin tablets from Costco (their Kirkland brand). Since I enjoy hot cereal for breakfast and couldn't eat oatmeal because of the fiber, I started eating Cream of Wheat, which also has 50% of the RDA for iron and, along with the milk I mixed it with, provided me a pretty good supply of calcium. The way I took the vitamin tablet was to crush it and mix it with the cream of wheat. It wasn't the worst tasting thing I ever had, but it will also never show up as an ingredient on a cooking show.

Since I have had the ileostomy taken down and have the full use of what's left of my intestinal tract, I do the vitamins and a calcium supplement every day now with no adverse affects.

I use liquid calcium every day. It comes in a few flavors....not cheap but it's better than not digesting those darn pills mad

I think you can get the iron in a liquid vitamin, too.
