Hey Everyone.....today I need to change my signature.....Dillon's birthday. He is now 20 (OMG I am old!...he is my baby).

Anyway, what a great year it has been for him and I hope that all of you, that are struggling, find the coming year to be a huge improvement....we have been so very fortunate and that is all that I hope for for each of you!

Wishing you all the best,
Cathy (and Dillon) yeah

By the way....I think that you are just an amazing group of people and I wish I could meet everyone of you and thank you for your support during our trying times.
Mom to Dillon (age 19) who had three major UC flares over two years....Very sick. Colectomy Sept/09, J pouch built Jan/10 and take down Feb/10. Now out living life at University and doing great. NO MEDS

Happy birthday Dillon!
48 years old, female.
2004 dx indeterminate colitis. Back and forth between Crohn's and UC dx. Many drugs, minimal success.
2010-11 Crazy skin and eye complications, high fevers, bad flaring. Out of good drug options, tired of scary drugs.
Feb 2011 -- proctocolectomy with permanent ileolostomy; abscess, blood clot. Still healing, still glad for the surgery
