Hi all! I hope you're having a great weekend! My surgery was supposed to be Monday. (I had a colectomy last year and this year they found atypical cells in my rectum. So I'm opting for having the whole thing out and getting a permanent ileostomy.) Well, I had my yearly CT scan last week and it showed two spots on my liver. Both my oncologist and my surgeon say it could be nothing, but they have to do biopsies to make sure. I had one spot last year, and they said that was likely from the surgery. But now they are seeing two spots.
I'm nervous, but really trying to not freak out about
it. And I'm oddly disappointed because I was really looking forward to just getting this surgery over with and getting on with my life. But, it seems like with all things medical it's hurry up and wait.
If you could say a prayer that all goes well and that there is NO cancer, I'd be forever grateful. Thanks!
