Pain in the colon is a very generic symptom and could be a million different things, but is most likely due to the constipation. If I didn't poop for a month, I'm sure I'd be in pain.

The bottom line is we can't diagnose anything from the internet, only a doctor can. It's unlikely that it's cancer, so don't jump to the worst-case-scenario.

You have to get that transit test. If your colon is inert (not working) it needs to come out. I agree with 80's, anyone whose bowels do not move is in pain. If I were you I would get started on this and come to the best decision you can with the most info you can and have something done, scary as it is. There are a bunch of us on here living out of our small intestines and doing just fine. You can too. Keep the faith and get to work on this. I know it is hard, Cheering you on, Rosemary
