Can anyone on the board tell me what kind of vitamins you can take with an illestomy?  Something that won't pass through whole!

Maybe try going to a health food store and ask if they have a liquid form of vitamins. I know they make an iron supplement in liquid form so maybe there are other vitamins too in liquid or a multi vitamin.

i tried liquid multivits but they make my output go liquid and nuts! I saw a dietician and she gave me some advice to make the vitamins more specific to my needs. I now take capsules rather than a tablet and it seems fine. I'm taking Vit B complex, Antioxidant Cherry Capsule, Pro Biotic and an digestive enzyme - all capsules. Was also taking chewable Vit C but that made my output too runny!

My husband takes the centrum silver multi vitamin and it must absorb well as he has not seen it expel when he empties...his lab work seems good - B12 was a bit low so he is taking 2 sub lingual each day

I take children's gummies or children's chewables. They also make adult gummies now.
