I have been having an annoying pain between my belly button and my stoma. If I push on it I could bout go into orbit! showed it to Gi the other day and he says it's a surgical hernia. Anyone else got one? Did they do anything about it?
he said it wasn't a big deal. I'm actually not convinced that he is right. I was having pain there before my last cade if I layed on my side and while walking. shortly after the cade it quit hurting unless I push on it. I was thinking more on the lines of a fistula. I don't think the cade would have helped the pain from a hernia. ??? Here I go playing Dr. again! lol self diagnosis is a past time of mine!
Take care!

Hey Cleo,
nope i havent had a pain there, but i DO get one on my left side, above my hipbone, but im not at all sure its not something like an ovarian thing. But with the RVF im not at all sure i am willing to go through an exam at this time. Its not bad, and i only get it once or twice a week, very vague. i had the surgeon take a looksie and he said its nothing from surgery...not so sure myself either. We have learned to not ignore ourselves...sometimes we do know better than doctors. I hope that if the doc finds out the cade helped the pain hell take a closer look...can you ask for a scan?
It will always get better...always

J-Poucher; 1st step 11/16/04, 2nd step scheduled for 05/23/05...pouch-vaginal fistula...not healed, but working on it!
