I never expected to run a 5K race. In fact, I never expected to run again in my life, period. Having battled chronic illness for 17 years and suffered a serious leg injury 10 years ago, running wasn't even on my mental radar. But I did. Read my latest blog post for more.

I hope this uplifts, gives hope, or inspires someone today.

Way to go Peter! I am training for the Dec. 2 CCFA half marathon in Las Vegas. I am only walking in this one but hope to run in the Napa half marathon next June. I look forward to reading your blog.

What a great example and articulate expression of your journey!! I loved reading it and will share it with many clients if it's OK.

Want to thank you for this site that helps me all the time. It feels like a home to come to. I appreciate all the work you and others do to better the world around us. May God bless you greatly for it!
Those things we keep trying to do get easier not because the feat gets easier but our ability to "do" gets better.
