funny you guys mention this- my lower back has been a bit sore lately too. I swim, a mile every other day, which helps. But I think I also need to start doing ab exercises- I was a big yoga fan prior to surgery too, but haven't done any since! I'm thinking some leg lifts & crunches will help. I remember talking with my WOCN after surgery, & she said ab exercises are fine with a stoma- something like the stoma is attached to the rectus muscle, not the abdominals. I'm going to check out that core 4 thing...
