Have you been disabled diagnosed by crohns in the past? Is the disease new to you or just fissures and the location of the rectum?

Unfortunately I don’t know the too much about either. There are a number of resources online so when you do have a few minutes, you’ll prob find some good information. Hope you’re appt goes okay and let us know how things go.

have had crohns my whole life (just turned 60) and know tons about crohns in the small intestine. when it started on my kidneys a couples of years ago i completely "lost it" and ran away from the best medical care money can buy to the coast of maine. now this. what the heck. doctors thought that stopping the asacol would help the kidneys. maybe that is what caused this new problem. need to head off to bed, will post details tomorrow. thank you for caring. martha oh yes, on social security disability since 1998. used to travel around making software until gi doctor told me that i had to stop. hubby was such a honey about the whole thing.

All the best Martha, hope you can find a medication/treatment that will prevent further crohn's and it's complications. I understand as I'm presently going through some problems as well.
