My 89 year old Mother, who has dementia, fell and cut her lower right leg badly enough that she has just been put on a wound vac. She is going to Short Term Rehab for a bit to get back on her feet. While she is there they will be helping her dress and undress, but when she returns to the Memory Care Home she should be able to dress herself. Our question is what type of clothing would anyone suggest to make it easier for her. We are thinking some sort of baggy sweat pants (she is in upstate NY) that she will be able to run the tube from the wound to the vac through either the bottom of the pants or under the waistband. Any thoughts and suggestions?
