Hello, I recently went in for a resection but because of problems during the surgery woke up with a bag. I am starting to get the hang of it. Just changed my bag by myself for the first time yesterday. The reason I am reaching out is because I am still having regular bowel movements and EXTREME constipation pain. Not from stoma, the output seems fine. Surgeon does not seem concerned but I am worried that something is wrong. So my questions are has anyone else experienced this? How long does it last? Anyway to get rid of the pain. When I try to have a regular bowel movement I go a little and the pain subsides for a short time but then comes right back (had surgery almost 3 weeks ago). I have gone a lot the regular way. Any feedback would be really appreciated. Thank you.
