What can I give or make for someone with a colostomy

My friend had emergency surgery and has a stoma.
What foods can I make them and or what can I buy them that would help with supplies?
Books?
Casseroles?
I want to be helpful but she is not looking for company., which I understand

Just tell them you love them and send them flowers or card...they just need time to adjust. It takes a little to deal with the new way of living and no one can say anything to make that happen.

Buy her a six pack of Ensure in whatever flavor she might like, one of the better liquid nutrition forms as she is healing.And send her a link to this forum!

In time your friend will probably like a stealthbelt, which you can get at stealthbelt.com If your friend is a veteran then they can get them free through the VA by asking their Wound Care Nurse for them.
