Thumbing thru my supply catalog I noticed tablets you can put in an ostomy bag to turn the output to gel and thus maintain a "lower profile".  Anyone have any experience with these?

Vetteguy:  I found them in the Edgepark supply catalog.  I think it was like $30 for 100 tablets.

Here's the info on the gel tabs:

Gel X Abosorbant Tablets; 140 tablets for $17.80. Manufacturer: Secure Health Products. Item # 1060 in the Edgepark supply catalog. As far as I could tell from what I read you put one in the bag each time you empty it.
