My stoma is just under three months.  I had a difficult recovery requiring extra hospital time and a wound vac.  Yesterday I went swimming for the first time in years, and it was great.  I spent five hours wading around on a "lazy river", swimming, sliding down a slide, and soaking up some much needed rays.  I just wanted to praise the ostomy supply company for making it possible for me to wear a bathing suit and be comfortable in the water.  I had no leaks, no problems.  Pretty amazing products!
