I had a TC and I did not experience spasms. Are you cramping and bleeding? This sounds horrible and painful. I wish I had words of wisdoms for you but I don't.
Here is some information about
the suppositories...This medication is used to treat moderate-to-severe pain from spasm of the tubes that drain urine from the kidneys to the bladder (ureters). Belladonna/opium suppositories are used when regular pain medicines are not working well or when it would be better to take narcotic pain medicines less often. This product contains 2 medicines; opium (a narcotic pain medicine) and belladonna (an anticholinergic). The opium helps to relieve pain, and belladonna helps to relieve spasms.
Are you getting any relief from the belladonna? If not, you need to contact your doctor and tell him/her that this is NOT WORKING FOR YOU. I do not care that today is Sunday...you need to call. You can't continue to suffer like this and you have been on this medication since Wednesday. This medicine sould work immediately and you should have some relief within an hour or two. You have been on this for 4 days...it is apparently not working. Please call your Dr and let me know what they say.
