kevin,Welcome to HealingWell.I've been on stalevo 100 since it's approval as a drug to treat PD.I take it 4x daily ,and try to space it out.8am,noon ,5pm.10 pm.most days it gives me about
3 hrs of good control of my PD.some days the control is so effective you wouldn't have a clue that I have PD .other days I get poor control, and I don't fully understand why.I have found that no food 1/2 hr or more before or after a dose seems to help, and a low protein diet seems to help.If i'm tired or sedentary that also seems to affect the med control. So many factors can affect your control and uptake of meds, and we are all different. You might need to take your stalevo more often or up the dose slowly.Fine tuning is what you have to work at with any med. This you need to discuss with your neuro.Wish you the best, and stay in touch.Ed.
