Sorry it took me so long to write, I resisted the urge to visit this forum; it depressed me so much the last time....
But to answer your questions:
I am now 49, diagnosed with PD more than 12 years ago 36. The disease has progressed slowly, thus I continue to run my own CPA/Consulting firm. Doing very well financially. Not so well physically, yet I am able to work 60-70 hours a week.
- Carbidopa-Levodopa 25-100 (2 pills five times a day (every 3.5 hours)).
- inject testosterone every week (to maintain muscle and stave off atrophy).
- Adderal 5 mg four to five times a day (to maintain alertness and improve brain function)
Currently have severe ED issues, very depressing. And no amount of medication seems to consistently be effective.
Thanks for line about inspiration, but not so sure I have an inspiring story to tell.
I don’t not have a neurologist, insurance is very difficult to obtain, thus most of my medication is self determined.
I would love to hear more from you or others about medication successes and especially ED resolutions.
