Hi all

I have a question about Parkinson's medications.

I have Lyme disease and Babesia, confirmed by testing -- I'm currently being treated. My symptoms include tremors and difficulty walking and so I was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's.

Sinemet was prescribed (and my Lyme specialist agrees that it could be helpful in controlling neurological symptoms -- it wasn't. I tried three different times, titrating the dosage up slowly, and I was worse on the drug than on it, including an increase in the severity of tremors. I'm now trying madopar and getting same reaction (increased tremors, pain, dizziness and fatigue). Am staying on it because I think it might take awhile to adjust? The worst symptom is a feeling of being in an earthquake.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice?
