I don’t usually post in this forum but I’m a mod over in the anxiety forum.
My dad has advanced Parkinson’s and over the last couple of years he has had episodes were he passes out and we have to get him lying down with his feet raised. Recently it has become much more frequent and it is becoming debilitating as he has become anxious about leaving the house in case he has one of these passing out episodes.
We have raised these issues with his GP who contacted his Consultant and they thought it could be related to his Parkinson’s medication that he takes so he was asked to cut back on some which the consultant felt can cause low blood pressure as a side effect and also sent him to have an ECG to check we had not missed a heart problem (this came back fine).
He is still having these episodes and I was wondering if anyone here could offer any insight?
