Piano, Thank you for all the good info. These pumps and rings..do you get them from the doctor? I guess I'll find out tomorrow but sure would like to know ahead of time. I'm going to wear the doc out with so many questions anyway. This surgeon is a numbers guy and I'm just the facts kinda person. Thats why I like reading what everyone writes on here cause the directness is what I'm looking for.
I think what concerns me is Kent will be going back to work in about
a week and usually puts in 70 hours a week. Its a very high energy exhausting job and we are worried that all of this will take a back burner. Before it really wasn't a problem (because it wasn't a problem) but now there are so many changes. Guess its just a road we will go down and take it one day at a time. I still have 2 kids at home that require my attention too.
It will all work out. If we can just figure out how to use these things. :) Its just weird when we have never had to work at it before. But it will bring a whole new world to us. This could be interesting...... Humor is everything!

January 08 PSA 5.2 round of antibiotics went to 4.3
February 08 another round of antibiotics went to 4.2
March 17,08 had biopsy, 2 days later told cancer was on
one entire side of prostate.
Doctor thinks its best to get the whole prostate with Perineal Prostatectomy.
Surgery scheduled for this Thursday April 10th. Only took 1 1/2 hours. In recovery 1 hour. Both nerves were spared.
