Sue,

Thanks for sharing how Lance went Home: through Christ. The believer in Him and His subtitionary death on the cross, resurrection, and ascention, can truly say, "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." (2 Corinthians 5:8)

May Christ continue to give you comfort.

Gene

God bless you Sue. Though I never raid any of your earlier posts I feel like we are kin to each other on this forum. We are all here by a common bond. Some have been here longer than others, some have great success, some have many problems, all care about others and voice it in many ways. I am sorry to run on so long. May God bless you and your family during this time. Uncle Dan

Dear Sue,

Only good thoughts for you and may cherished memories provide great comfort.

Lance is ahead of all of us now, preparing the way.  You are remembered in prayer.

May you have the peace you desire.

All the best,

Dearest Sue

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family on the untimely passing of Lance.  Hearing news like this deeply saddens me. I hope that many fond memories of Lance will help to comfort and sustain you and your family in the days, weeks and months ahead. May God be with you at this time of sorrow, but also of joy in celebrating Lance's life.  I am a strong person, but I must confess that your very loving message of Lance's passing brought tears to my eyes.

Sue,
I haven't been on the board for a while, so I just read your post. I want to tell you how sorry I am, but at the same time I rejoice with you that your prayers for Lance's salvation were answered! Psalm 27:13-14 is a passage I claimed as my life's verse back when I was a teen, and the Lord has brought it to mind many times this year,

"I would have despaired, unless I had believed I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord. Be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait, I say, for the Lord."

I am praying for you,

bec
