Going on my forth week now and things are going well except for constipation.  I was wondering if anyone else experinced this with IMRT?  I did change my diet because the doctor said I would likely have issues with dirreaha but I seem to be having the opposite reaction.  Anyway, I am going back to my old diet which is heavy on fiber, can't handle this bloated feeling.

I'm still battling it 6 weeks after surgery so I know about the uncomfortable feeling. The Duclox(sp?) laxitive works well for me but then you are starting all over again. Stool softners can help. I find myself taking the maximum listed on the over the counter ones.

A friend of mine went through treatments in the same area, like you and she said it was always a constant problem. Diet, lots of water and walking if you can. That friend of mine laughs about it now and I'm sure you will too.

I wish i could remember the stuff she told me about and it was the same stuff I was given for presurgery. It was fissey tasting stuff like it was carbonated and was not as bad as that fleet stuff. Got it at CVS.
