Yeah, I've been on T therapy (shots not gel) since 4 months after surgery. I was on TRT for years before PCa. Had a heck of a time finding a uro that would write the script.

This report verifies what a minority of urologists believe.  Many will never give T therapy to PCa patients.  They believe that testosterone feeds any remaining cancer cells and will cause a recurrance.  So a patient with low testosterone has to decide if the risk is worth the reward of having a liveable life.

Hey WD,
I have also been on TRT for about 14 months but I use the gel and Jim (my TRT Brother) is correct about trying to find a Uro who will prescribe it for you w/ any history of PC. I do think they are loosining up a little now w/ so much research FINALLY being done. I would love to talk more on the subject and will later. Work always seems to gets in my way! Dumb, stupid, bad, nessasary work!

I have not been assessed for low testosterone but I wonder if it is the basic reason for my low sex drive.
