I'm still fairly new to this and have some questions.

1. When I use tri-mix I find I have the feeling of the need to urinate.  This is a distraction, big time.  Does the dosage have any influence on this sensation?  That is, is this sensation less noticeable with lower dosages?

2.  I'm wondering about the dosages I read about here.  My ED treatment specialist started me at .10, then told me to go to .20 and move up in increments of 5 until I was satisfied with the strength of my erection.  I'm now regularly using around .28-.30cc on super-bowl nights and .12 as my every other night maintenance dose.  I have had no problem with the erections lasting 4 hours.  I suppose they might be lasting that long but I have no trouble sleeping, so, if they are lasting a long time I don't know it.  I don't take any other medication when I'm using tri-mix.  Are you guys really achieving results with these tiny dosages I read about here?  I mean, some of you are using tiny doses!  I do notice that I achieve a fairly firm erection even with my maintenance dose but it is on the smaller size.  Are you suggesting that, with stimulation it can become large enough for, mmm, satisfactory performance?

Thats all I can think of for now.

Thanks for any experience you can share.

I think the dosage differences could be due to different mixtures of Trimix. Docs specify the ingredients they want. My doc started me with .10 ml and that was too much so I started cutting it down. I also experimented with L-Arginine and Viagra taken before the shot. I found that, with stimulation, I needed very little Trimix to get a very useable erection that only lasted 1 - 1 1/2 hours.

I also think that we are all at different stages of recovery and that probably makes a difference in our reaction. There are so many variables in ED recovery that I think we each have to find our own way. Some docs apparently don't like using Viagra with Trimix. My doc recommends it. Maybe thats because I'm an old geezer and need all the help I can get.

I never had the urge to pee reaction that you mention so can't address that issue.

All this stuff is strictly IMHO. I certainly am no expert though I have had some expert help from Swim and others here on the forum.

Another question:

Does the length of the needle make a difference in effectiveness?  I went from a 28 gage .5 inch needle to a 31 gage 5/16 length needle and wonder whether the shallower injection depth will reduce the effectiveness of the medication.

What do you think?

My needles are 31 gauge 3/16 inch and work fine for me.  Maybe someone with a better understanding of penile anatomy could tell us if depth makes a difference.

The 31 gauge needles are rather fragile and I have to be careful not to bend them when drawing the meds and giving the shot.  I've bent a couple and wasted the syringe and the meds plus multiple stabs are not fun.
