Friends,

I was listening to the BBC (GMT 8am) this morning and learned about this book compiled of six-word autobiopgraphies  (The title of the book is Not Quite What I Was Planning  - six word memoirs.).  Some are clever and thought provoking.  -6
Many are sad & emotional  (especially those from children with terminal illnesses).
One 4-word concentrated Haiku-like autobiography:  "Never could stop overachieving."  - fittingly seemed the most economical use of words!

I thought perhaps members posting on this thread could each develop six of them, adding and editing as the "muse" moves them to tell us (briefly!) about their lives ....

I'll start:

1) Friends teach loyalty and toleration patiently
2) Backpacker, Beekeeper, Landscaper, Brother, Uncle, Son
3)
4)
5)
6) God's Love with us, always   -  Sonshine!

The author of A Series Of Unfortunate Events submitted:
Lemony Snicket.  What!?  Lemony Snicket. What?!

Live long and edit often, friends!

Cedar,

I'll give it shot...................

1. Birth, life, cross, grave, eternal life - 6

2. God, wife, family, friends, happy heart - 6

3. Golf, fishing, football, things I miss - 6

4. CaringBridge and HealingWell, my joyful heart - 6

5. Cedar, guys-n-gales, friends for life.

6. Monkey bread and chocolate cake, great - 6

I'm done. Love ya.

Hi Cedar,

I was not going to chip in here thinking that many others would instead. I am actually wanting to know about your recent PSA and other results to ensure your good health, as you mentioned recently in someone's post, that you were also up for some tests this week or last week. Anyway, these are the ones ( 6 word memoirs) I came up with:

1. Bundy and coke, a liquid delight! - 6
2. Faith, hope, love, trust, kinship, family - 6
3. My husband: courageous, strong, compassionate, loyal - 6
4. Rambling sometimes, listening sometimes, reflecting constantly - 6 (That's really the one that describes me to a tee!)

You are always in my prayers Cedar. Let us know your news soon. Take care, God bless, and cheers, Lana.

This is interesting, Cedar.  If honest it requires exposure of ones self.  Hmmm.  I am considering this mostly because I am much different than you and Walt.

1.  Life, love, wife, children, grandchildren, flying -6

2.  Parents (dead), family, honesty, courage, tenacity, fear -6

3.  Determination, aviation, America, strength, sorrow, age -6

4.  Friends, humans, goingfast (one word!), speed, risk, reward -6

5.  Chance, tough, weak, afraid, bold, ballsout (one word) -6

6.  Dear, loving, sweet, wonderful, wife, MINE! -6  (Lucky me.)

Well, I think that I'll post it.  Hmmm.  Not sure.  Let me check the others first.  Back in a minute.  Ok, I'm gonna' do it.  I did all this in just a few minutes and I fear that it may say things about me that I don't want to share, but so did my original thread and it was rewarding.

Hi Cedar:  I love your post and the replies I've read here and wish I could come up with six good ones but at the moment...

Brain is numb, inspiration won't come. - 6

caring, sharing, loving, praying, healing, leaving -6

Sorry folks, sometimes it feels like a kick in the teeth.
Perhaps it's because it's the week before my monthly PSA, Lupron, Zometa appointment.

Lana,
Thanks for the prayers and friendship.
My test results arrive next week.
More prayers are always much better!

Bill,
Some differences sure, more in common!
My accelerations aren't at 35,000 feet!
Coastguardsmen play in stormy shallow water!

PianoMan,
Your six measures always inspire us!

James, Walt, FLHW, and Tony (and, for you too Bill!)
Souls rise like phoenix toward Heaven!
