Hey Marie,

Congrats, that first PSA test is truly a milestone. Now relax for a while and feel good about your decision, the results of the surgery and see yourselves as on the way to recovery.

Great news!

I had my surgery just a little before you, Nov 13, 2007 and am waiting for my first psa numbers. I am hoping for the same results as you. My brother who is a tad older, had the same surgey in Aug 2007 and his results were very good.

Happy Valentines.

Thanks everyone for your continued support and encouragement!  This really is a milestone! After a summer of worry and the fall bringing bad news, and then the winter surgery. We're both taking a deep breath and awaiting spring with renewed hopes, dreams and good health.

We celebrate every hurdle we clear!

Hey DesertGal,

Thats great news, always like to see those zero's, I do think you need to add another zero and maybe correct your profile as you indicate 0.1 as the psa which really is a little ways from zero (ten pennies) I hope you meant 0.01 which is really the true undectable. I am sure that is what you have but just check with the doc to make sure. jwb.

Hey Marie

When I checked in this morning I found a big goose egg and it had your name attached, great news and may you have a whole family of goose eggs from now on.

Thanks jwb for pointing that out to me.  Hummmm well the letter they sent said undetectable at

< 0.1  I guess we were so excited with that news that we didn't question it.  I'll call and have them double check the figures.

Thanks,

Marie

Hi,

Just called to confirm the test results.  She explained that is the lowest they go and it is considered undetectable.  She said labs can differ in their results of testing.

Thanks Norskie and Barry for the Goose Eggs!  I like em!

Marie
