Hi Jim,

I don't know much about COPD and surgery. I was diagnosed by a cardiologist with an enlarged heart. I had surgery (Laproscopy) in Albuquerque NM. about 4 weeks ago.  It was complicated and I was under about 6 hours with no problems.  I am originally from Phila. and I know U of Penn has some of the best surgeons for PCa.  Give them a call.

Joe

P.S. Go into the control panel and put some info etc.. e-mail

Hi Jim,
Welcome to the finest place on the web for patient to patient interaction for prostate cancer. I do not have COPD, but there will likely be a responder who does. Radiation is a viable option should surgery not be. Bootheel has good advice for you while here. In the control panel, under personal profile, you can list more information in the signature that will help others help you. Stay close and stay positive.

Tony
