Hi everyone, well finished the radiation therapy on 24th January, have been away on holidays, starting to feel like my old self again, tiredness, and effects of the radiation, have abated, even spent all day yesterday using my chainsaw, cutting wood for winter, now am waiting for the all important PSA result on the 30th April, bit like a slow torture wondering if it will be ok, but I guess I have to stay positive, but still feel my life is on hold 'till then, what will be will be, in the meantime carrying on as normal as possible.

Regards Mal.

Hi maldugs,

Glad to hear that you're finished with your radiation treatment and that you're nicely recovering from the side effects. Most of us here know very well what you're going through having to wait for the next PSA test result. I'm due for my 5th 3-monthly test result on 12th of March and have 'butterflies' already. We're all going through this phase, whether we had operations, hormone, radiation or other treatments. That's one of the ugly sides of this disease. All we can do is think positive. I just hope that it will turn out ok for you and for everyone else as well.

Best wishes for your future.

Hi Mal,

Glad to hear you've finished your coarse of radiation theropy. Waiting is always the tough part, but I know you'll be just fine. Keep your chin up; think only positive thoughts, and remember we're all here waiting with you.

Good luck, and please be careful with that chainsaw.

Glen
