Hi All,

I just wanted to let the forum know I had a great visit this last weekend with my 93 year old mother in Spokane, WA. While there, I knew I wanted to visit a fellow forum member, Jim (Biker), again. So I was able to use my Mom's computer to look him up.

We found a place and time to meet. This time I was able to meet his lovely wife as well. We had a wonderful visit at the Frankie Doodles restaurant in Spokane. Yes, I did say "Frankie Doodles." It seems to be a very popular place in Spokane.

We all had some fresh pieces of pie and good conversation. Sorry to say, we didn't have ice cream with the pie!

Jim was so nice to buy the treats again this time that I felt I had to do something for him. So I went out and bought him a new motorcycle. He was so pleased, that I took a picture of him with his new bike.

Sorry to say I got him with his eyes closed, but you can tell by his smile that he was pleased with his new toy. He plans to ride it when the weather improves.

I'm looking forward to seeing Jim and his bride when I visit Spokane again in a few months.

Thanks, Jim for the hospitality!

All the best,

Barry

You might have been eating pie, but Jim looked like he was eating the brownies I used to make. LOL. You have my wishes that you can hook up with Jim and Mom for many more years. Frankie Doodles sounds like a fun place. Good gift for our president!

Hey Barry,

Yeah, thanks for the nice visit and chat.  MaryLu and I hope you call again next time you are in Spokane.  I always enjoy talking to you.

The picture looks like Frankie Doodle's pie didn't agree with me.

It is always a great time when we are fortunate enough to get together with other survivors.  We have so much in common that conversation never lags - its like old friends getting together.

Where would we be without each other...

Jim

Barry,
It's wonderful that you were able to spend some time with your mom - she's 93 and uses a computer...how great is that! :-)
Then to spend time with Jim & MaryLu - you lucky guy.
BTW - thanks for all you do here!

President Jim,
One of these days Washington State will be on our itinerary & a piece of pie at Frankie Doodles with you & your bride!

All the best to you guys,
Susan

Hey guys (& gals), Wouldn't it be great if next time you visit Spokane, you could all aboard a magic carpet from there, and then fly down under for a visit? You'd have to collect Greenacres on the way (She's always up for a party), and it would be so lovely to meet you all! cheers, Lana PS Great photo!

Hi Lana,

I'm putting a hold on a 6-seater magic carpet today, in anticipation!  tongue
