I am down to 1 pad a day....and really looking forward to zero a day.....but as with everything else when one finds out he has prostate cancer, I have learned patience.

One thing I notice is that during the morning and early afternoon, I seldom notice any leakage, even with mild "stress" such as coughing, sneezing and swinging a golf club.

However, later in the day and into the evening, I leak a little bit even without "stress".  Still only one mildly soiled pad, but definitely different later in the day.

Assumption is that my body tires as the day goes along.  Did anyone else have a similar experience?

I read here recently that walking and using an ellyptical machine helps, so I intend to start doing a lot of that this weekend....out of town now on a business trip.

DanManBob,

I had similar experiences as to leaking later in the day - on my feet all day.

I found as my kegel muscle tone improved, it went away completely.

DanmanBob,

I see that all the time... I dried up on schedule after rp, but in the year since radiation, I have developed stress incontincne to a degree... I defintely am more prone to it when I'm tired....if I did a lot of lifting, I'll be a bit drippy for a couple of days....also, if I've had a cold and did a lot of coughing, I'll leak a bit more for a day or two... nothing horrible, just a few drops--- when I see it coming, I wear a pad----- have to wear one about half the time.  I walk on a treadmill (running turns on the waterworks too much), sometime's I'll leak a little then..... it sucks, but its managable... hope this helps!

Yep, me too.  Although my incontinence disappeared quickly (less than 1 week), during that period it was most evident in the evenings. I have the same theory: muscle fatigue.
