I have NOT been good about posting since DS had his surgery July 10, 2007.  He started out doing WELL.  He did have to go back and have some 'scar tissue' removed.  He still has some problems with shaking when he tries to go to sleep!  This has happened a long time now and everyone tells him he needs hormone or could be hormone connected.  Do you have anything to share on this subject.  Would really appreciate this!!!   Thank you for any input you have on this.

His PSA now reads 0 so that is good.

I have been on hormone therapy for 10 months. I started HT 90 days after daVinci surgery. The reason I was told to commense HT was because of my stage and high risk of return (90%). This does not appear to to be the case for him. His stage and PSA indocate that he is not high risk. But I have an additional question. Did they perform an Orchiectomy? (Remove the testicles). If so then he probably needs Testoterone injections. If not, he needs to see his doctor. I am not certain who "everyone" is that you refer to, but his shaking is not hormone related. And I would doubt is it even with Testosterone ablation. He needs to see a doctor, or, even another doctor.

God Bless.

Not right. Should be like this:

www.caringbridge.org/visit/xxxxxxxxxx

The x's should be the name of the individual or site.

Whatever i safter "visit" is what I need.

Thanks for posting....His shaking is identical to being very cold...going into shock....shivering. He is NOT cold. Even insides quiver he says! This has gone on for several months now...sort of disappears and then its back again. Very frustrating to him. He lives alone..right next door to us or we probably would not know about it. He is a typical 'bubba' from Arkansas. He is an outdoorsman and hunts and fishes constantly. He had to quit work on the railroad because of a bad back. We have cattle and he has not been able to help with them for a long time either. So for him to be in the house so much is NOT NORMAL. He was never an inside person, except when the girls were babies!
I do appreciate your posting and if you know of any reasons he can bring up to his Dr it would be appreciated. He has watched his sugar readings as his daddy is diabetic Type II and we thought perhaps that was a cause, but it is ok.

Have Bob's Doctor run a few simple blood tests to see where his levels are. I have a suspicion he's may be low on some vitiman or mineral (magnesium maybe). Good time to ask for a baseline testosterone as well. Good luck.

Thank you so much.   Will do.  He goes back within the next 2 wks I think, unless he can get into the family Dr.  Will report back what we find out.  God Bless
