I was wondering how common is it to have red urine on Day 4 after RRP.  I was clear and now have gone pretty red.  Good volume,  few clotts one big one and many small ones.

Thanks,

Frank

My dad had the same thing.  His went to "normal" and then once he got up a little more and moving around it turned red/orange.  He just drank more water and took it easy and everything was fine.  I think the big thing is that you don't want any clots in the urine bigger than a dime right!?  I am sure you will get a lot of responses on this one.  Good luck for a speedy recovery!

Sounds like a fairly normal post surgery, after hospital recovery.  The walking can and will create a little bllod leakage, but thats part of the recovery process and nothing to worry about at that amount.  Congrats on reaching the other side....

Thanks for the responces. I feel better now. I was quite active my day 3. I still will walk 60 minutes today and drink lots of water.
