What all support groups are folks involved in? I try to offer hope and inspiration to as many as I can via my experience as well as experiences of those I have met. My goal is to live with cancer not die from it.
My PSA at diagnosis was 16.3
age 46 (current)
My gleason score from prostate was 4+5=9 and from the lymph nodes was 4+4=8
I had 44 IMRT's
Currently on Lupron
I go to The Cancer Treatment Center of America
Married with two kids

Great Goal and you will be supported here. While we don't promote any particur sites we have allowed references to other ligitimate sites. I am a member of a couple of additional sites but for me I have enjoyed my stay here more than any other. In any case, if you are somewhat computer savvy you can search 'forum prostate cancer' on any major search engine and find support groups. Keep in mind that as a moderator of this forum, I am no different than any other member here. I would always encourage you getting the word out, but also receiving the word of others. I wear a blue wrist band that I procured through donation. It will remain on always in support of my unfortunate brotherhood.

Your thread is invalid. I made that mistake in the past. Your caringbridge site name should look like the following:
the x's should be your site name.

Age 45 (44 when Dx)
Pre-op PSA was 19.8
Surgery on Feb 16, 2007
Post-Op Pathology: Gleason 4+3=7, positive margins, Stage pT3b (Stage III)
HT began in May, '07 with Lupron and Casodex 50mg
IMRT radiation for 38 Treatments ending August 3, '07
Current PSA (1/08): <0.1
I will continue HT until May '09.
Years in Remission (3/23/07): 1

I forgot to mention that USTOO is a very strong in person support group nationwide. I am a member of the Las Vegas chapter. You can go to to find a chapter near you.
