Just a quick update:
  1. First post-op (6 weeks) PSA <.01 :-)
  2. Incontinence: Has been dripping like an old faucet since catheter removal (3/10/08), but there is sign of improvement starting last few days...
  3. Erect: Still in hibernation...
 

Age: 48 (2008)
DRE normal, PSA 3.1
8/28/07: Diagnosed cancer, T1c, Gleason 3+3=6
2/27/08: Laparoscopic Rad. prostectomy @ Anaheim Kaiser, 4 hrs.
              Both nerve bundles spared
              Pathology Report: Tumor confined w/in prostate
              T2c, Gleason is 3+3=6
              Surgical margin: Focally involved by tumor in right apex
3/10/08: Catheter removed. Drip, drip..
4/7/08: PSA <.01 :)

Hi there Stuck in the Traffic. Boy, don't you just love those zero's. I love the smell of them in the morning. This is great news and hope you have many more. Take care and keep in touch.

SIT,
1. Great on the PSA - I wish you a lifetime of them!
2. Incontinence - This will get better - you're already noticing a difference. Body's still healing. Do the kegals.
3. Hibernation - probably still scared ;-) You're young, both nerve bundles spared and the you have the want. Many posts here about that - check Bluebirds post

It's great news to read about your excellent PSA result.  May you continue to make good progress on # 2 and # 3.  Already, you're batting .333!
