My PSA remains at 0.3 after 6 months on Zoladex (plus 4 months on Celecox as part of clinical trial) and my Oncologist has stated that the good response to HT (PSA down from 136) indicates a better prognosis.
My hope is to stay healthy long enough for new treatments and drugs like TroVax to become available. Sounds very promising.
Age 55
Diagnosed Aug 2007 by routine check by GP, no symptons and scans clear
PSA prior to starting HT 136
Gleason 10 (5+5)
Staging T2N0Mx
HT (Zoladex) started 17th Sept 2007
PSA 19th Nov 2007 1.0
UK NHS Clinical trial STAMPEDE started 7th Dec 2007. Radomised with Celecoxib + HT
PSA 19th Dec 2007 0.5
PSA 11th Jan 2008 0.3 
PSA 22nd Feb 2008 0.3
PSA 4th April 2008 0.3
