I was just reminded by someone who had apparently done a search on our surgeon, and saw one of our posts here and sent an e-mail to Ken. Ken called him back and gave him our experiences.

We are one year and two days since Ken's surgery, and one year exactly from path report.

Everything is going well for Ken and myself! Looking forward to a huge summer trip. Planning Oregon coast, then up and over to Glacier NP and then over to ND for my all-school reunion (and to see my mother), and then back to Colorado.

Sorry I haven't been around much. But glad I was reminded of our long journey through prostate cancer and how great everyone was here! Also glad that our story reached at least one person who reached out through e-mail.

We have our next appointment in early May for one year PSA and check-up.

I am going to go browse now and see how everyone else is doing. Hopefully well.

Hi Tanya & Ken.... yeah

Welcome Back!!!!  Great to hear from you guys.  You sound so good and you don't say but the PSA's have been zeroes, right?  We came on at HW pretty close in time, and I was very fortunate to pass 1 year in remission.  If you get a chance stop by my blog.  I always showed a propencity to talk too much and that hasn't changed... tongue .  Have a great trip and very glad to see you, again...

Tony

Congratulations on your upcoming one-year anniversary, Tanya and Ken!

The trip this summer to celebrate sounds wonderful.  We are from the Pacific Northwest and love the Oregon Coast, where we've vacationed many years.

Take care and be well...Tim

Hey Ziggy,

Have to admit I don't exactly know what Targeted Focal Treatment is, but glad to hear you have chosen a treatment :)

I do remember Landess talking about his cancer, etc. but didn't remember what he actually did with it.

Where are they doing it in Denver? Always good to know of new treatment options!

thanks I saw it and read through.  That is great!  always good to hear of new treatments.

I am going to have Ken bump the thread to the guy who called us, just to make sure he is aware of it as another option in the Denver area.

Hi Tanya,

We are right behind you and so glad to hear all is well. It does take a long time to recover from the effects. Glad to hear of the great results. We are similar without the injections, but well all in all I think, and amazing when you think of the benefits of being in good health. Take care and lovely to hear from you. Hello to Ken. we got an undetectable today. Lana
