Dearest Lee,

I logged in here today thinking of all my friends on the forum, and especially Biker! This is because the blood has been taken this morning (3rd PSA) and we have consulted with NEW family doctor. So the wait begins and the anxiety tries to emerge; and I would dearly appreciate your prayers, as this is about the only time I would like to cry and scream at the same time. I am not doing either of course.

CJ is pretty calm as always - however he is QUIET.... a sure sign it is on his mind. Our son is on school holidays which is a happy distraction. Tomorrow I have the day off work, and am going to Uni which will keep me busy and distracted (Yes... I have now started those post-grad studies). CJ is touched and grateful for your kindness in remembering him today. He too just read this post as I was replying. One year apppointment with Specialist scheduled for 28th May coming up - hoping it will be fine as long as this PSA is.. tomorrow (17th) is the one year anniversary of his surgery..

Thank for your thoughts as always - they are so appreciated, and yes I will post the result as soon as I have it. I hope of course for another miracle. Love to you all, Lana

Hey Lana and CJ,

Waiting. I hate it too. Seems like half of recovery is spent waiting. But we have to ask ourselves if we have done everything possible to insure a successful outcome. And you have. Physically, mentally and spiritually. Preparation is in our hands. Outcomes are up to God. When we do our part, He does his.

The love and support that we all send you will always be there. Just drop in and read a few posts and be assured that we are all right there with you.

Congrats on a year of recovery. And best of luck with the upcoming appointments. We can all get well together...

Jim

Lana & CJ,

The waiting reminds of a song we do. The title is "Still". I goes like this......"for I will be still and know you are God". It's hard to wait, but that's what we are all good at here at HW. You are in our prayers for the new PSA. Big goose egg.

Just to let you know, our group is working on your song. Still composing, but it will come soon. Have you had a chance to get your's written down? If so, send it to me.

Love and peace,

Walt

Hi Lana & CJ,
I can attest also that the waiting is the hardest part. I'm sure the PSA result will be in your favor. Good luck and all the best. I can't wait for my one year post surgery.
My surgery is still on for Monday 4/21/08 in Austin by Dr Fagin. I've done the pre-op tests past Monday and is waiting now for the big day. Will keep you all posted.

I've always hated waiting...like a kid. Then it was because what I wanted to happen wasn't happening soon enough - period. Now, it's the same BUT added to that is fear, plain and simple. It's a battle we all try to find ways to fight and hope that we come up winners. That's how it is.
So, dear Lana & CJ as you wait, know that you have a group of friends here who completely understand. Waiting, well it sucks.

KrisP - We'll be thinking of you, too. You have a great doctor in Fagin and before you know it, you'll be in recovery and sharing your good news with us!

All the best,
Susan
