Has anyone heard of a person with advanced PC benefiting from alternative therapies like homeopathy or ayurvedic treatments?

Have known some terminal cases where homeopathy has helped prolong life for several years when doctors had give a few weeks to live.

Also, does all the lycopene, selenium, vit E etc really help?

Trying all this with my dad but not sure what to expect

Thanks!

Personally, on an internet full of sure-fire 'cures', I haven't seen anything that would make me second-guess the conventional therapy I'm on. However, I consulted a naturopath to discuss using complementary medicine to lessen the side effects.

While this doesn't provide a cure, it may give the standard treatments the opportunity to act more efficiently.

Just a thought...and the best of luck with your Dad.

Is your signature correct that your father's PSA was 2800 prior to HT and is now .05 just three months later? That is amazing! That should definitely give you hope!! If you haven't already picked up a copy of Snuffy Meyer's book: "Beating Cancer: Hormone Therapy and Diet", I would recommend it. There are a number of similar case studies in there that will give you hope! Good luck and keep us posted!!
