Has anyone experienced constant bowel movements with Cialis? Kent is so sore from constantly going and not really diarhea and not eating all that much. I didn't see this on the site talking about this paticular side effect. He is only started off with 5 mg.
Thanks to all!!

Called the doc. Told to stop the cialis, wait over the weekend and start back up. If the problem comes back then will try Viagra. Might be that he can't tolerate these kinds of meds. That doesn't sound good.....

Greetings, Cindy.  Trust you will find the right solution.  Doc gave me Cialis to take but fortunately I didn't need them.  I have been very fortunate all the way through this process. If you can call having prostate cancer and surgery to remove it in any way fortunate!  So far I haven't had to face incontinence or impotence issues.  I know that can change in a flash but I'm grateful to the good Lord for his healing hand and watching over me.

Hang in there - Kent will find the right solution.  David

Thank you, David.

He is getting alittle discouraged cause he is still having incontinence and this is making him alittle sore too. The cialis hadn't started working yet anyway. Maybe it will just take some time.
I'm so happy all has gone well with you. I pray that it will continue!!

Hi Cindy,

Tell Kent that he needs to remember one word, "patience".

I am 4 months post-op, and incontinence has been fairly steady with one pad per day. Impotence has just recently improved.

I try to ignore it all and not to let it get me down - my word these days is "enventually"

Thank you!! It has really gotten him down. I appreciate you writing and I showed him your reply. I know its going to take some time but its hard for me to tell him that cause I don't know what he and all the guys on here are going thru.
I wish you the best and hope for your continual healing!!!

Hi, VAfan - remember you can work your way through the "Big 3" - viagra, cialis and levitra. Viagra gave my husband severe headaches. Cialis works well, but everyone is different. The doc gave us Muse (the pellet inserts) to try, but no one gave those good reviews, so we pitched them. Besides, they're $25 a pop.

And, yes, patience is a hard thing to come by.
Husband: Age 67
PSA had doubled in 14 mos to 4.3/Gleason 6
da Vinci 8/06 in Austin with Dr. Randy Fagin
Post surgical path shows encapsular penetration; possible bladder neck involvement.
PSAs remain undetectable; no further treatment at this time.
Next PSA: April 08
