Anyone got an order from Franck's for Trimix in the past couple months who can tell me if their latest shipment has chilled during shipment?  I thought I read somewhere that they had stopped shipping it chilled.  I may have it confused with bimix, which doesn't ship chilled, or evn that they stopped sending it chilled for no extra cost.

Reason I asked, I am trying out Trimix and they quoted me approximately $68 for the Trimix and $24.95 for shipping and chilling.  That sound right?  Total of $91 or so.

No experience with trimix, but Franck's order line lady told me that it must be kept cold.  An article that I linked a few days ago said same....fyi.

Are you down on bimix now or just trying another option?

I'm just trying another option.  I didn't try it before going from Caverject to Bimix, so thought I would back up and see what it does.  The Trimix ratio is 30mg/1mg/2.5mcg, a really low amount of Alprostadil.  Maybe just enough to enhance the potency of the Bimix components without a return to the aching and pain of straight Caverject.  If not, I still have the Bimix.  As someone said, Bimix is a little more problematic as far as repeatable dose reaction each use, so I wanted to see if I missed something along the way.

Let me know how it goes.

That trimix formula is interesting.  Was told by Franck's that most trimix has 10mcg of alprostadil and the formula my physician originally ordered for me had 20mcg of alprostadil, along with 6mg of phentolamine.

Did you come up with the 2.5mcg or was this a referral?  Either way, I will be very interested in your results.

Good luck.

Well, I am a test case study of one.  My doc is willing to let me try different approaches.  I kept notes on doses and results, all the way back to the first Caverject Impulse, and the lowest Caverject I took was 5mcg.  Notes said it was somewhat reduced as far as pain and aching was with almost good enough erection quality, compared to the 10,15 and 20mcg doses previously.  I figure with the Bimix there and just a little bit of Alprostadil that I can enhance the power of the bimix, while maybe requiring less of a dose, with no pain and aching.  Time will tell, should be here tomorrow.

Thanks, James C.  That makes perfect sense.

Let me know how it goes.  I am early in experimenting with bimix, as you know, but if I feel a need to switch for any reason, it will help to know what results you have with this trimix formula.
