I called my Dr. requesting Bimix. He faxed a prescription to a compounding pharmacy. Because I am so far from his office (380 miles), I did not have to make an appointment for a demonstration. He did, however, warn me about priapism but never told me the intial dose to start with. He deals strictly with Caverject. Do any Bimix users out there have any recommendations for a starting dosage? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Search for bimix on the site and you will see a few threads that deal with this topic.

Most seem to end up at somewhere between 0.25ml and 0.5ml when using 30/1 bimix, so I opted to start at 0.2ml for the trial run, then bump it up 0.05ml each time.

I am about to try a watered down trimix in a couple of days.  Vial arrived today.  I had the urologist order a watered down trimix formula (only 2.5 mcg of alprostadil) so I could test the "pain/aching" waters sometimes associated with alprostadil.  Depending upon how that goes, I might up it to 5 mcg alprostadil, etc....but I

Good luck!!

I started with .25ml bimix, and worked up to .5ml which works fine for me. Each time is individual, what works today may not work next time, so it will take some experimenting to dial it in. Seems most people end up using .25ml to .5ml, in any case....

I have been using Bimix for six months and get an adequate erection using .30 ml. I also have found that stimulating myself to partial engorgement before the injection prevents any bleeding or bruising at the injection site.
I am 74 and have not had prostate surgery.

I find that .3 to .35ml works consistently with the higher just enough more firm.

Questions for anyone: I find my penis burns for about a minute after the injection. (I don't think it's from the injection). Anyone else find that?

I also cannot orgasm but come up to the point and then nothing, although I seem to have release. I am 9 months post prostatectomy (nerve sparing). Does the bimix retard orgasm in any way or might it be the surgery?
