The course of treatment prescribed for my situation is 6 months of hormone plus 8 !/2 weeks of radiation.  Where I'm currently being seen, IMRT is used, but I've been reading about Tomo Therapy which is a different delivery system for IMRT.  Anyone out there with some experience or thoughts on the matter.  I'd appreciate any advice or experiences you might have had with radiation.

As a general comment, Tomo Therapy is not necessarily a better alternative for every given situation. eg, some facilities that have it available do not always use Tomo  in every application.

Especially for someone interested in radiation and hormone treatment, I always suggest reading the book by Lee Nelson MD. His book is very comprehensive, and covers various treatments, outcomes, lifestyle changes, diet, supplements etc. The other reason for suggesting this book is that the author is a PC survivor who used radiation and hormone treatment for his PC some years ago.
